Freya Nelson is a civil litigation attorney whose practice encompasses a wide range of matters including premises liability, motor vehicle liability, professional liability, insurance coverage, dram shop, and construction defect litigation. Her practice includes all aspects of litigation, from the initial case assessment through pre-trial motions, mediation, and trial.
During her time in law school, Freya gained valuable experience through several organizations and externships, including as a legal extern for the Honorable Judge Leonardo Castro where she was involved in drafting and editing orders and memorandum on behalf of the judge. This gave her valuable perspective on motion practice and trial in Minnesota State Courts.
Freya received her J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where she was involved in AAJ Mock Trial and the Legal Association of Women Students. Freya holds a B.A. degree from Gustavus Adolphus College, where she graduated magna cum laude, majored in Political Science, served as a President for the Gustavus Women in Leadership Organization, and led the Model United Nations Organization.
Outside of her legal practice, Freya enjoys traveling, running, reading books, skiing, spending time with her friends and family, and painting.
